Diesel performance modules allow you to increase the horsepower and the torque of your diesel engine without having to reprogram the vehicles computer chip. They are usually very easy to install in places such as the gap between the computer and the fuel injection. Those modules will provide all the additional horsepower by tweaking certain settings of the main computer chip. Such gauges are pyrometers, temperature gauges, and turbo boost gauges (for turbo charged engines). These gauges cannot increase your diesel engine's power or torque, but they can certainly inform you of any less than desirable conditions in your engine. All in all, diesel performance modules can be a very cheap and effective way to unleash the power that your vehicle is withholding.
